Green Trails was a project funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program KA210 – Small Scale Partnerships for Youth.
The project was implemented in cooperation with the Alliance for Research, Knowledge Transfer, and International Cooperation e. V. (Germany).
The Alliance for Research, Knowledge Transfer and International Cooperation e.V. (ARKTIC) and Logos NGO, within the framework of the “Green Trail” project, aimed to develop a set of local activities and study visits to increase green skills, sustainability awareness, and environmental knowledge, attitudes, and competencies among young people with fewer opportunities, including refugees and migrants.
Our objectives within this small-scale partnership project were:
1. To foster dialogue between participants and participating organisations and strengthen youth participation in Poland and Germany, empowering young people to become more mindful of the environment.
2. To make participation in our local projects more accessible to young people, including people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
3. To equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to make sustainable choices in their daily lives
4. To bring a greater European dimension to our youth work at the local level through regular exchange of ideas, practices and mobilities – between staff and participants involved in ARKTIC and NGO Logos’ local projects.

As part of the Green Trails project, young people from Poland 🇵🇱 and Germany 🇩🇪 came together to take action for the environment through the power of art. Over the course of our activity, we learned how recycling can help reduce waste and explored creative ways to reuse materials. ♻️✨
Working in groups, participants used recycled materials to create unique art pieces, each one reflecting their concerns about key environmental issues like pollution and climate change. 🌿🔥 The creative process was not only inspiring but also showed how art can be a powerful tool for raising awareness and promoting sustainability. 🎨💡
To celebrate our hard work, we held a public exhibition where all the incredible artworks were on display. 🖼 The exhibition brought attention to the importance of sustainability and the role we can all play in protecting our planet. 🌍💚
Alongside the artistic activities, we also enjoyed exploring the beautiful city of Poznan together, deepening our connections and cultural understanding. 🏙 It was an unforgettable experience that strengthened our commitment to making a positive impact!

From November 23 to 25, 2024, in Nurnberg, Germany took part “Community Cleanup” activity. Participants deepened their understanding of the impact that litter and pollution have on the community. Through their direct involvement, they contributed to making the local environment cleaner. Moreover, the activity significantly raised their environmental awareness, encouraging more responsible and sustainable behavior.
🍀 The Final Event of “Green Trails” has officially kicked off in Nürnberg!
We’ve already been on an exciting Sustainability Hunt through the city, explored eco-friendly architecture, and visited the incredible Future Museum. We’ve learned about renewable energy, sustainable transport, and freshwater fog stations, and even had the chance to illustrate one of Albrecht Dürer’s artworks — with many more activities to come!
🌍 This powerful week brings together young changemakers from Germany and Poland to connect, reflect, and act for a more sustainable future.

On April 26th, 2025 at Plaża Dzika by Lake Rusałka in Poznań, we celebrated the final Multiplier Event of the Green Trails project — a day full of nature, creativity, and meaningful exchange.
We kicked off with a presentation of the project, its goals, achievements, and the impact it made over the past year. We were especially happy to welcome our partners from Germany — the organisation ARKTIC — who visited us as part of the project’s Evaluation Meeting. Together, we reflected on the outcomes and officially wrapped up the project.
Throughout the event, participants could explore various eco-zones, where we shared the best practices and innovative ideas developed during the project.
✨ Highlights of the day included:
🌱 Planting workshops – hands in the soil, future in focus
🛶 Kayaking zone – unwind and connect with nature
♻️ Clothes swap – sustainable fashion in action
We were thrilled to bring together youth workers, students, local authorities, artists, project participants, and the community — creating space for sharing, learning, and celebrating local action with a European dimension.
