We are excited to share the results of our amazing project, Media Maze: Navigating Together, a collaboration with our fantastic partner, Arousa Moza.

🔐During this project, we worked to educate young people about media literacy through engaging workshops and by creating educational escape boxes focused on this important topic.

These handbooks provide all the guidance needed to create your own escape boxes and help young people develop critical media literacy skills.

The training course "Moving Emotions" was designed to help youth workers tackle the emotional challenges of today's world 🌍. With stress and life's difficulties on the rise, many young people struggle to manage their feelings or seek help for mental health issues.

This course equipped participants with tools to create supportive environments focused on emotional intelligence, authentic communication, and a connection with nature 🌱. By understanding that emotions are meant to move us—both mentally and physically—they learned to better support the youth they work with, helping them build stronger connections and engage more actively in society 🤝.

We’re beyond thrilled we implemented our first activity under the "Unified Rhythm" project with Highlights e.V.!

✨ Our open area event brought together over 50 amazing people who joined us for meaningful dancing session with our expert and took part with other prepared activities!

Highlights:

🎯 We created amazing activity zones, including Blind Sketches, Hear & Guess, and Escape Boxes, all focused on the theme of democracy and active civic participation! 🗳️

🔆 Our event was finished with a reflection and discussion about the activities we participated in and community engagement ✨

✅ We increased body awareness, integrated with each others and empowered young people to engage and learn how to participate in civic society, cultural, and political life, with a special focus on migrants and refugees.

🔎 This project aims to foster communication and build connections among refugees, migrants, and local youth. We’re working to create an inclusive environment that strengthens cooperation between organizations, youth, and local communities.

On August 24th, around 200 participants gathered in Poznań to celebrate Ukraine’s Independence Day. The event began at Adam Mickiewicz Square with inspiring speeches from Anastasia Kochnieva and Yulia Yaroshenko. We then unfurled a 10-meter Ukrainian flag and marched peacefully to St. Roch Bridge, expressing our unity and gratitude to the Polish people for their support during challenging times.

Following the march, we enjoyed a “Unity Picnic” with live music, delicious Ukrainian dishes, creative workshops, and net-weaving for the army. A highlight was the creation of a vibrant photo zone symbolizing our solidarity.

Special thanks to our partners: Cover-band “Ai-yai-yai,” Nets for UA volunteers, restaurant Czyczeri, Clara and Nargiz from Stowarzyszenie Jeden Świat, Garna Knyharnia, and all speakers and volunteers who made this day possible.

Together, we are strong! 💙💛

День Незалежності України у Познані: Мирний Марш та Пікнік Єдності!

24-го серпня у Познані ми об’єднали близько двохсот учасників з нагоди Дня Незалежності України. Подія розпочалася на Площі Адама Міцкевича, де прозвучали натхненні виступи від спікерів Анастасії Кочнєвої, президентки Фундації Центру Інтеграції Жінок NejmovirnaPl @nejmovirnapl , та Юлії Ярошенко. Після цього ми розгорнули десятиметровий прапор України та вирушили в мирний марш до моста Святого Роха. Дорогою ми демонстрували нашу єдність і подяку польському народу за їхню підтримку у важкі часи.

Після маршу учасники зібралися на “Пікнік Єдності”, де на нас чекала жива музика, смачні українські страви, творчі майстер-класи та плетіння сіток для армії. Особливою подією стало спільне створення яскравої фотозони, яка стала символом нашої єдності. Велика подяка всім, хто долучився до цього неймовірного дня!

Окремо хочемо подякувати нашим партнерам: Cover-band “Ай-яй-яй”, волонтерам Nets for UA @nets.for.ua, ресторану Czyczeri @czyczeri9_poznan, волонтерам Clara та Nargiz із Stowarzyszenie Jeden Świat, а також Гарній книгарні @harnaknyharnia.pl, спікерам @kochneva_anastasiia_ , @uliajarolnik та волонтерам, які допомогли організувати цю подію.

Last week, we held the final event of our "Actively Critical, Critically Active" project. During this event, we had the opportunity to delve into some key areas that have been central to our project:

🔹Erasmus+ Opportunities: We explored the various opportunities available within the Erasmus+ program, providing valuable insights for future endeavors.

🔹KA154 Youth Participation Projects: Participants gained a deeper understanding of what these projects entail and how they can get involved.

🔹Project Overview: We reflected on the achievements and outcomes of the "Actively Critical, Critically Active" project, discussing the best practices we’ve developed along the way.

🔹Critical Thinking: We delved into the concept of critical thinking, emphasizing its importance in today’s world.

The event was also filled with interactive activities and games that kept everyone engaged and thinking critically! 🧠✨

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this project a success. Let’s continue to think critically and act actively in all our future endeavors!
