Youth Exchanges

Youth exchange (YE) is a meeting of youth coming from different, in majority European countries, during which young people work together on a specific project. The programme promotes non-formal education, based on team-work, tolerance and respect. Youth exchanges develop in participants creativity, innovation, critical thinking and social awareness. By multiple activities, such as workshops, games, debates, etc.. young people are familiarised with different cultures, religions and traditions and encouraged to share ideas and work together towards a common goal.

Youth exchanges are intended for participants aged 13 – 30 years old and last between 5 and 21 days. Accommodation and food are provided. Moreover, the travel cost is covered.

Hi Logos family we are happy to share to feedback written by Monika who participated in the Erasmus+ project, taking place in Netherland🇳🇱
I couldnt imagine the beginning of December without all these Christmas decorations, songs and commercials reminding me about buying presents cause its the time already. 🎅🏻But you know what? It happened. I forgot about daily routines. From 26th November to 4th December I lived, created and danced 💃🏻🕺with 34 new friends from The Netherlands, Turkey, Cyprus, Croatia, France and Italy (and some Ukrainian representation).🇹🇷 🇭🇷 🇨🇾 🇫🇷 🇮🇹 🇵🇱 🇺🇦We spend whole week in Dutch village Grolloo for Erasmus+ Youth Exchange themed Cre-Activity. My third but unusually friendly Erasmus+ project.
Cre-Activity. Oh, how we were creative and active! Madness! Almost every task we did in a different group and this not only integrated us but made us open for being inspired by others and mixed ideas. ✍🏻We still stayed focused on the task or challenge. We have touched all kinds of human activity, especially arts. 👩‍🎨We were painting, acting, dancing, making videos, singing… But the discussions, reflections and listening were the most meaningful. What we did, how we made it and how it did work in the end.

That way we discovered and understood our creativity and motivation to action. All backgrounds we had is value and all skills we used might be useful but there is an imagination too. And courage! 💃🏻

I love Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges as an opportunity given to participants to share their passion. That view of us did, included me myself. I got a chance to prepare workshops of creativity in dance. 💃🏻I will surely do it again! Maybe without this chance i would never try or try in the far future.

Lets be honest, it was not an easy, intense experience. 😅A few bathrooms and cooking for the whole group, cleaning afterwards and all the time surrounded by people, whatsmore required using other language non-stop - might be and is exhausting. However, it is definitely worth it! And those gossips…. 😉

Hi!☺️
I am Julia recently, I had the occasion to be one of the Polish participants in the Erasmus+ project ‘Escape Room for Education’, held by organizations Logos and K’MON, which took place from 28.10 to 04.11 in Ceuta in Spain.
The main goal of the project was to create escape rooms that educate people about human rights. But before doing that, we went together to an escape room, we talked about human rights in our countries, the situation on the Moroccan-Spanish border, and about how to build escape rooms that contain a story and a message.✌🏼💃🏻
After the theoretical part, we got onto the practical part. We divided into three teams, each tasked with creating an escape room on one of three topics: migrants’ rights, bullying, and gender equality. Then it was time to show them to the world, and we welcomed guests who played our escape rooms, and we ourselves were also able to play escape rooms created by other groups.🌞
In our free time, of course, we explored Ceuta, went to the beach, tried the local food, and met at so-called intercultural nights, during which each of us had the opportunity to present a part of their countrys culture, such as traditional food or dance.💃🏻🕺🇪🇸
I would like to thank the Logos and KMON organizations, without whom this project would never have become reality, and all the participants. I am glad that I could meet you and spend these wonderful moments with you in Ceuta. 🇪🇸
You guys are awesome!
