Youth Exchanges

Youth exchange (YE) is a meeting of youth coming from different, in majority European countries, during which young people work together on a specific project. The programme promotes non-formal education, based on team-work, tolerance and respect. Youth exchanges develop in participants creativity, innovation, critical thinking and social awareness. By multiple activities, such as workshops, games, debates, etc.. young people are familiarised with different cultures, religions and traditions and encouraged to share ideas and work together towards a common goal.

Youth exchanges are intended for participants aged 13 – 30 years old and last between 5 and 21 days. Accommodation and food are provided. Moreover, the travel cost is covered.

We are looking for people from Poland 🇵🇱 for the project Online Debates powered by Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange!!!

📅 When: From 30 of May - 28 of November (flexible)
🌏 Where: online (next sessions 5, 6, 12, 13 of June 2020)

💡Info about the project:

Be a part of Intercultural online debate and connect together in safe online facilitated dialogue to discuss issues that matter to us. Meet with new friends from foreign countries and learn under the guidance of trained Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange trainers. Perfect opportunity to work on your debate skills, to craft a powerful speech, and present yourself like a pro.

After the selection, you would become a member of one of the debate teams. Each debate features two teams of young debaters from the north and south of the Mediterranean who will learn and then present evidence to validate arguments for or against a motion chosen by the participants themselves. 
The session is hosted by a Debate Trainer, and the debates are moderated by the two Team Leaders of each team. 

After the Online Debates, Debate Team Leaders and their team members will meet again in the Post- Debate Dialogue session one week after the Debate, to reflect on the motions they debated.

All participants will be awarded an online badge for Debate Participants. These badges are EU recognised badges in the frame of the EU Commission project.

☑️ debate and dialogue techniques
☑️ promotion of common values of freedom, tolerance and non-discrimination.
☑️ soft skill development, including critical thinking and teamwork
☑️ advocacy impact

👨‍💻👩‍💻Participant’s profile:
- Aged 18-30 y.o.
- At least an intermediate level of English (or French or Arabic)
- Access to a computer, the internet and a headset
- Enthusiastic about advocacy and respectful debate
- Motivation and willingness to take an active part in the Youth Exchange

Logos NGO as a partner organization is glad to share our completed project in Copenhagen, Denmark, one more time again.

People Of 2050 made their first successfully Training Course about A Climate of Change: Youth Work for Sustainability with our collaboration.

With this kind of projects we are building a SUSTAINABLE living between citizens and the planet, with a future in which ECOLOGY is no longer an emergency but a way of life and where ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION is implemented daily!

CLIMA is a chance of exchanging experiences and best practices, analysing and inspire youth workers on what Climate Change is all about and how to use the Sustainability Science for empowering individuals.

We would thank you to all our participants and partner organizations for being a part of Training Course in Denmark.

We hope, this project will be a reason for other projects with our collaboration so far.

The goal is to understand the unique of biodiversity and importance of nature to humanity: global and local regulation of climate, water quality, economic benefits of nature resorts, importance of nature resorts for research and recreation. Due to human activities, nature resorts have decreased drastically and continue to decrease.

📌Objectives:
☑️  Participants will gain valuable knowledge and broaden the information about the eco situation in Europe and in the world, their value and significance for the whole Earth ecosystem. 
☑️  Project will provide young people with a sense of responsibility, promote respect for the environment in which they live, and will develop a broader understanding of the ecology. 
☑️Develop soft and hard skills, share knowledge and learn
from each other.
☑️Understand the concept of youth participation and active
citizenship within EU and create practical guidelines to
practice it in daily life.
☑️ Reach practical understanding of EU values, Erasmus+
