Hey Logos Family👋

We would introduce one of the new members of Logos NGO - Magda Strzała 🤩

Here we go:

Most of you may know me in Logos as the girl which organizes events on critical thinking. My name is Magda and in Logos, I am Activities Coordinator, I am now working on Skepsis project in Poznan 😊

My story with Logos started quite recently in June when I was a recent graduate from the university in Scotland wondering what my first job would look like. The only thing I knew is that I really want to do something which will be meaningful and will work towards the improvement of society. I’ve been involved in working with NGOs for the past 6 years and I believe that work in the third sector is one of the most rewarding jobs you can have. I was super happy to find the offer for Logos so I applied as soon as possible. And that’s how my journey here has started 😊

When I look back to June, I have to admit that I learnt sooo much. But it’s not only self-development but also loads of amazing young people who share their amazing energy and values. In the past few months, I’ve met Logos family (yes, I can confirm, it really feels like a big family 😃)
On top of that, working for Logos also allows me to go on lots of international projects, training courses and trips. I also love it for its flexibility so that I can live between Poland and Scotland 🇵🇱🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I hope to see you on our next projects and events somewhere in the world 🌍

Thank you, Magda, for sharing your own experiences to us all😇 Best of Luck to you!

The last week from 15th until 21st November, we implemented our hybrid Youth Exchange: Mission Impossible.
Thanks to our partners from Lithuania Stovykla „Draugai“ and the donors Jaunimo Reikalų Departamentas we gathered 20 young people from Lithuania and Poland, both on-line and off-line in Poznań; who spend 5 days exchanging ideas, experiences and having a lot of fun.
The participants had the chance to learn a little bit more about the concept of social business, to get awereness of the social problems that both societies, Polish and Lithuanian, are facing nowadays; and to propose real solutions to those through their own social business projects.
Moreover we had the chance to present our countries through creative oresentations, music, legends and quizes in our Lithuanian and Polish intercultural sessions.
Once again we would like to congratulate our participants for their commitment and amazing job , and to our partners as well as donors for making it possible to implement such as amazing initiative, especially taking into account the current difficulties we are all facing.

………………..
Ponadto mieliśmy okazję zaprezentować nasze kraje poprzez kreatywne prezentacje, muzykę, legendy i quizy podczas litewskich i polskich sesji międzykulturowych.
Jeszcze raz serdecznie gratulujemy naszym uczestnikom zaangażowania i wspaniałej pracy, a naszym partnerom i darczyńcom umożliwienia realizacji takiej niesamowitej inicjatywy, zwłaszcza biorąc pod uwagę obecne trudności, z którymi wszyscy się borykamy
