Youth4Ukraine

The Youth4Ukraine project, in collaboration with Arousamoza and funded by the European Union, has carried out a series of initiatives to foster integration, inclusion, and dialogue between young Ukrainian refugees and local communities in Spain and Poland. Through these activities, we have worked to create an environment of welcome, mutual understanding, and solidarity among participants.

Featured Activities

One of the most notable events of the project was the Integration Picnic, where participants enjoyed traditional food tastings from six countries, live music, sports activities, and salsa lessons. This event created a meeting space that facilitated the exchange of experiences and cultural traditions, strengthening the bonds between Ukrainians and local residents, and promoting greater inclusion and a sense of belonging within the community.

We also organized the Diverse Dialogues Gender Event, which raised awareness on topics such as LGBT+ rights, equality, and diversity through workshops and dynamic activities. This initiative aimed to include a gender perspective in all project activities.

The project also stood out for its multicultural activities focused on fostering tolerance and respect for different customs, encouraging participants to immerse themselves in the diverse cultural traditions present in their communities.

Other Memorable Events

Among the most significant events was the Logos Olympics, a series of fun and competitive games held at Lake Rusałka, as well as the celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day, which brought together more than 200 participants in a peaceful march, featuring live music and a "Unity Picnic" that symbolized solidarity between Ukrainians and Poles during challenging times.
