Empowering Growth, 2023
Empowering Growth was a project funded by the European Union, through the Erasmus+ program KA210 – Small Scale Partnerships for Youth.
The project was implemented in cooperation with Náš tábor (Czech Republic).

Young refugees from Logos Polska and young people with fewer opportunities from Náš tábor came together for this small-scale partnership and implemented outdoor activities to educate activities participants about environmental ideas and issues, to raise awareness about European values and identity among participants through discussions, and to create a better cross-border understanding and cooperation between members and target groups of participating organizations. In this way, they reached their aim to make a positive impact on the issue of environmental change and provide participants with specific knowledge and skills on how to reduce their negative impact on ecology and climate change.

Check out our activities!
🤝From the 30th of May till the 2nd of June, we took part in an incredible Kajak expedition that brought together youth workers and young people from Poland and Czechia, including refugees and people with fewer opportunities.
🚣♀️Participants navigated the scenic Obra river near Poznań, learning kayaking skills and enjoying the natural scenery, while enhancing teamwork.
🇪🇺During the expedition, participants learned about environmental issues, climate change, and EU environmental policies.
🤝From April 25th to April 29th, our team embarked on an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Sumava National Park in the Czech Republic.
🚵As we biked through the trails, we also worked towards fostering connections and raising awareness about European values and identity. Our aim was to foster acceptance and understanding through discussions and common activities.
🌱We learned a lot about environmental issues and how our actions impact the planet. Through discussions and workshops, we gained a deeper understanding of our ecological footprint.
🏔️From November 3rd to November 5th, we hiked through the mountains of the Karkonosze National Park. All participants had a chance to reach the highest peak in the Czech Republic, enabling participants to feel a sense of belonging to their group through encouragement and teamwork.
🏠All participants were accommodated in a house without any electricity. Near the house, there were natural sources of water. We aimed to show them sustainable living.
🤝The participants developed a range of skills, including teamwork, participation, team management, inclusion, and acceptance. They also developed outdoor skills, intercultural skills, and organizational skills.
Last weekend Logos NGO implemented the multiplyer event within the framework of the project “Empowering growth”.
🌟 Reflecting on our Final meeting: a collaborative evaluation in Poznań 🌟
Last week, we gathered for the final activity of our project—a comprehensive evaluation meeting held at the Logos NGO office in Poznań, Poland. This event marked the culmination of our shared journey, providing an opportunity to assess the impact, challenges, and successes of our efforts. We also identified areas for growth, ensuring that the lessons learned will inform our future initiatives.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, our partner Náš tábor, and Polish national agency Narodowa Agencja Programu Erasmus+, Fundacja Rozwoju Systemy Edukacji, who contributed to this project. Your dedication and collaboration have made a meaningful impact, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.🫂
