The project "Open-area of your European life" is Youth participation activities, which aim is to integrate young people from Norway and Poland with Ukrainian refugees through outdoor activities and mindfulness practices and also to involve young people in the cultural, social, and civic life of the EU .

The project is implemented in cooperation with: RE:ACT Volda, Erasmus+ ungdom

Events implemented in a frame of the project:
Poznan, Strykowo plaza, July 2023.

On Saturday, July 15th, we had our very first one-day outdoor event called "Nature Bridge" at the beach in Strykowo. We began our day with yoga to relax and get ready for the fun ahead. Then, everyone got to try kayaking and test their balance. We had yummy Polish food for lunch and sweet watermelon for dessert. Towards the end of the day, we had a special dance session where everyone could have fun moving their bodies and feeling happy. It was a day to enjoy nature, try new things, and have a great time together.

Sokoliki mountains, August 2023.

The enchanting campsite "Tabor pod Krzywą" in the Polish Sokoliki mountains, hosted a 4-day outdoor event titled "Embrace, Explore, Evolve." Our mornings began with serene meditation sessions and invigorating exercises. Throughout the day, we embarked on exhilarating hikes, delved into the world of rock climbing, collaborated on preparing dinners, and concluded our evenings with warm conversations and melodious singing around the fire under the starlit sky. The event offered participants a precious opportunity to disconnect from urban life, unwind amidst nature's embrace, introspect in solitude, and forge new companionships.

You’re Welcome: climb up the trust hill! Poznan, 2023.

"You're Welcome: climb up the trust hill!" is a project that aims to provide quality free-time activities for residents with different ethnic backgrounds in Poznań.

We want to give participants an opportunity to spend time on physical activities and give them a hobby that will stay with them long after it. Through a variety of engaging and inclusive activities, we aim to foster a sense of community, promote healthy lifestyles, and create an environment where individuals can connect, learn, and grow together. We strive to promote the well-being and integration of all participants as they acquire climbing skills.

“Post Truth? Countering disinformation narratives”. Poznan, Poland, 2023.

"Post Truth? Countering Disinformation Narratives" focuses on the growing problem of disinformation and fake news in the post truth era and how it could be countered through critical thinking, media literacy and other creative strategies.

During 9 days, 7 selected artists explored the topic of post truth from different perspectives, focusing on the growing problem of disinformation and fake news and how it could be countered through critical thinking, media literacy and other artistic strategies. This collaborative hybrid program combined a transdisciplinary training approach to post truth together with a collaborative residency finalising in a presentation as collective exhibition in the Galeria u Jezuitów Centrum Integracji Kulturalnej.

The program began in project space Patria (Skrzetuszwo) where participants lived together while learning about the topic. We would like to thanks all the invited researchers from different disciplines who sparked questions to reflect and build from: Mykhailo Koltsov, Bogdan Bondarchuk, Alessandro Rolandi and Txaro Arrazola.

The program continued with some experiential activities including the field trip to the museum Centrum Edukacji Regionalnej Kasztelanii Ostrowskiej where participant artists had the opportunity to respond to the island contained in this space with some ephemeral artistic interventions. This place holds important archeological finds that were preserved in the water of this lake telling us the story today.

The collaborative process enabled ideas to be materialised in the final presentation creating a multidisciplinary exhibition in the Galeria u Jezuitów Centrum Integracji Kulturalnej.

This process was led by the artist and curator Seila Fernández Arconada who designed and delivered the program together with the local coordinator Taisiia Shkarlinska from Logos Poland who took care of all logistics to make the project flow nicely with the best atmosphere for the participant artists.

This project has been organized by Lernlabor in partnership with Logos Poland and financed by the @auswaertigesamt and #civilsocietycooperation

“Post Truth? Countering disinformation narratives”. Kyiv, Ukraine, 2023.

”Post Truth? Countering Disinformation Narratives” is a transdisciplinary collaborative program aimed at addressing the issue of disinformation and fake news in the “post-truth era”.

Through artistic expressions and collaborative engagement, the project  challenges the surface of things and question the narratives we are told. By generating discussions, fostering empathy, and promoting a sense of community, the project hopes to contribute to building a more informed and resilient society that can withstand the impact of disinformation and manipulation.

During 8 days, 8 selected Ukrainian artists explored the topic of post truth from different perspectives, focusing on the growing problem of disinformation and fake news and how it could be countered through critical thinking, media literacy and other artistic strategies.

This process was led by the artist and curator Seila Fernández Arconada who designed and delivered a hybrid experimental program. The local coordinator Veronika Kurkina in support of her team in Logos Ukraine (Viktoriia Nuzhdova , Emir Shevkiev) took care of logistics providing a safe and comfortable working environment.

This hybrid program merged a training course with a residency, a space to create artistic responses from the collective experience. We had the honor to have invited researchers from different disciplines: Mykhailo Koltsov, Bogdan Bondarchuk, Alessandro Rolandi, Txaro Arrazola and Bernard Fairhurst.

A number of experiential and experimental collaborative activities happened during the days of project, including a collective engaged dialogue with the Dnipro river. The collaborative process enabled ideas to be materialized in the final presentation where the artists created some artworks presented as a multidisciplinary installation in the Art Space «Вежа» located at The National Technical University of Ukraine in Kyiv.

Training was organised by Logos and Lernlabor organizations with the support of Rocio Monteoliva Herrera and local partners, the Andalusian Mountain Federation (Federación Andaluza de Deportes de Montaña).

Participants had the opportunity to explore the beautiful climbing sectors in the western Sierra Nevada, meet local mountain guides and pioneers of the Andalusian climbing scene, and enhance their skills in organizing climbing activities for groups with mixed abilities. Additionally, they developed follow-up projects with local stakeholders.

They also received training in risk assessment, giving and receiving feedback, and utilizing non-formal approaches to achieve learning outcomes. Workshops on funding and project development were also provided.

A highlight of the project was the inter-generational climbing day, where participants had the opportunity to climb with Andalusian climbing pioneers and meet Javier Aguilar, the world record holder in blind lead climbing. We are grateful to our participants, Rocio Monteoliva Herrera, our hosts, and our funders JUGEND für Europa for making this project possible.
