Grow. Improve. Volunteer. Poznan, Poland, 2022

“Grow. Improve. Volunteer.” is an international training course that was implemented in Poznan from 13th of November till 20th of November.

📚At this training course NGO members, activists and volunteers learned more about humanitarian principles and volunteering work.

🔍During 6 days of collective work, the participants learned about the better ways to respond to challenges and problems, collected useful tools, methods and practices for working with refugees and shared their volunteer experiences.

✍️One of the main goals of the training was to create a space for discussion and finding solutions on how to better and more professionally prepare for possible future waves of Ukrainian refugees that may come in the winter.

🧳During the training course participants had study visits to local organizations in Poznan that are also working with refugees and minority groups (Centrum Integracji Cudzoziemców w Poznaniu, BARKA, Migrant Info Point). Group also visited the reception point for refugees in Poznan, where the participants were able to get acquainted with the specifics of volunteer work from the inside and adopt some ideas of how the help and activities for refugees are organized.

📝By the end of the training course participants created a volunteering tool kit. This material is the quintessence of the knowledge gained at the training and the ideas that came during the exchange of volunteering experience between participants. You can check this material here.

This project was organized by Logos NGO in partnership with ActionAid.

“Solidarity power” was a training course that happened from 28 of October to 5 of November in a place Languedoc in France.

🌍Participants from France, Poland, Estonia, Germany, Lithuania, Croatia, Italy and Portugal gathered together for one week in a nice castle Château de St Aunay to get a unique experience and to learn new things.

🧐The main aim of the training course was to give to participants knowledge and skills on how to support young people to initiate, develop, apply for, implement and follow up on ESC Solidarity Projects.

During a week participants got acquainted with such aspects of project management as budgeting, communication, team-work, project executing, monitoring, risk management, and reporting in the best way possible through examples and discussions.

Also participants developed their coaching skills needed to coach Solidarity Projects made by young people. In the frame of coaching sessions participants worked on a goal-setting, which gave them an overview of life and steps for realizing plans.

Narratives from Nature. Janowice Wielkie, Poland, 2022

“Narratives from nature” it's an outdoor project that took place in the Janowice Wielkie region of Poland between 15-29 September 2022.

🏕The main aim of the project was to promote environmental awareness, sustainability, intercultural cooperation and tolerance through reflecting on our relationship with the natural world.

🎒This project provided the opportunity for 36 participants from programme and partner countries to explore a region of Poland that stands out for its natural beauty and ecological diversity. Through the frame of storytelling, participants explored the local environment and each other's cultures in an outdoor setting.

🇵🇱During the two weeks of project participants gained outdoor skills, visited local places of historical and cultural importance to explore the traditions of the region and went for a multi-day hike in the Rudawski National Park and the Giant Mountains. Through experimenting with different methods of storytelling participants created their own stories by the end of the project. In those stories they reflected on the experience of spending two weeks outdoors with an international group and shared their unique experiences.

This youth exchange was implemented by Logos, Lernlabor, AMITIE FRANCO RUSSE LANGUEDOC “AFR” and was financed by Erasmus+ programme.

Skepsis vs Propaganda. Sivas, Turkey, 2022

Training course "Skepsis vs Propaganda" was implemented in Sivas, in June 2022 under the funding of Erasmus+ programme.

One more project within our movement "Skepsis vs propaganda" was done!

The idea of the project was to bring 28 young people from 8 different countries to Sivas, Turkey, and to talk more about how to deal with the amount of fake information circulating all over the Internet and how to apply your critical thinking project to it. 8 days of learning about cognitive biases, logical fallacies, misconceptions, and, of course, propaganda, disinformation, hoaxes, etc.

During the project, participants created 7 tools, which can later help to share the knowledge of informational distortions to the target group, namely young people, youth workers, and their stakeholders. Besides that, participants discovered more about Turkish culture, especially Sivas considered to be one the most conservative city in the whole country.

They had a possibility to look for city treasures like mosques, museums, and cafes.

As a result of the project, local volunteers came to see what kind of tools we created and how they work.
